Zvuchat’ stems from Russian and translates to “sound”. The project explores different ways of sound perception, while focusing on the combination of visualization and sound. This information is transposed into a spatial installation. Users are able to move freely through the allocated space, thus manipulating the visuals. In the current context of the pandemic, the project functions online, using a VR-space, so that users can experience the sound-visualizations anytime from the comfort of their homes. The three media involved are so different in their utilization, that each of them is provided with their own visualizations and interaction functions. Museums, events and festivals can either rent the full package, or any of the services individually. In the following, the focus will be directed towards music festivals in order to delimit the project.
We would especially like to thank Erik Kun for the music and Prof. Dipl. Eva Vitting for assisting the project.
